When Deep Pocket Monster calls, you know something crazy is about to happen… but even we weren’t expecting him to challenge us to make a GIGA BINDER big enough to hold one of every Pokémon.
He immediately named it ‘Chad’ – and it eventually inspired us to make The 16-Pocket Binder.
But why did DPM need such a ridiculously large custom binder – weighing in at nearly 20lbs!?

He had a plan – the ULTIMATE challenge. Start from scratch and collect one of EVERY SINGLE POKÉMON in just 6 months, or lose everything and give Chad away at Card Party. That’s 1,008 Pokémon cards – some of which weren’t even out when he started. How do you even go about a challenge like this? Well if you haven’t watched it already – check out The Ultimate Challenge Saga on YouTube, you won’t be disappointed.
As the challenge progressed, Chad took on a life of his own. He was a constant reminder that there were still hundreds of cards that needed finding. In fact, DPM even had to have a custom backpack made so he could keep Chad with him whilst visiting card shows.
Did he complete it? Well, you’ll have to watch it to find out. It’s emotional.
But something else was happening at the same time.
The views on YouTube kept going up. Millions and millions of you watched DPM fighting against the odds. And we started to get messages. Lots of messages.
“Where can I buy a Giga Binder?” “I want collect the Pokédex too!” “I NEED CHAD!”
But Chad was unique – we couldn’t make another.
That’s when the 16-Pocket Binder was born.

You asked, we listened. With 34 pages and 1,088 side-loading pockets, this beast can hold the entire Pokédex. Originally relased as a one-off, it quickly became one of our most popular products – so we’ve brought it back and now it’s a part of our core collection range.
So if you ever want to complete your own Pokédex or store a thousand cards in one place – this is the binder for you – officially endorsed by Deep Pocket Monster himself.
But just be warned – it is BIG!
P.S. If you ever want to see the ‘real’ Chad – make sure to visit the Vault X stand at one of the events we visit. Chad’s brother (the prototype) is usually on display – and you can even trade with us for one of the cards we’ve collected as he’s travelled around the world with us!
